Historic Center
GOTHIC QUARTER AND THE CATHEDRAL
The construction of Barcelona’s Gothic cathedral spanned six centuries. Today, it is the landmark of the Gothic Quarter, located in the historic center of Barcelona, where remnants of the city’s first wall can still be seen in Plaça de la Seu, right in front of the Cathedral.
